In Part I we will see the extent to which God has gone in order to give us a “picture” of Jesus Christ from the beginning.
For He who promised is faithful” (Heb 10:19-23). Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament foundation, preparation and expectation, and He is the reason that we can “hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering. Jesus said, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life and these are they which testify of Me (John 5:39). Jesus began with Moses and all the prophets as He taught the disciples on the road to Emmaus and expounded through all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself (Luke 24:27).
