It did have quite a lot of chests, even though they are optional people like me will feel like they gotta do them. But I so loved the gameplay in this game. Because in the first game, I really felt like an assassin, representing the assassin brotherhood, fighting templars and stuff, but in this one, I felt like a frustrated italian (but an awesome character nonetheless) that's all about vengeance, while trying to become an assassin in an era where the assassins are not so well represented as they were in the crusade era, in the first game. Amazingly fun and really well done, way superior to the first game, but, if I had to choose, I would choose the first game, but with the gameplay of this one. Assassin's Creed 2 is seen by most as the best game in the series. A great alternative to the real actual story.
